Important Information Before Use:

The balancer is designed to balance the voltage difference between batteries, extending their service life. It does not function as a standalone battery protector; the charger and Battery Management System (BMS) serve as the primary safeguards. It will not damage the battery; in case of abnormalities, check the battery's condition, BMS compatibility, and charger alignment.

Two modes are available:

A) Sleep Function (Default): Automatically turns off balancing when battery voltage falls below 3V.
B) Non-Sleep Function: Active balancing is constant and does not enter sleep mode.

Note: The balancer may not light up blue if the cell voltage difference is less than 0.05V, and the total voltage of the first four cells is below 11V.

If the balancer is in the ON mode, it will rest for 1-2 hours after balancing, and the blue light will turn off after about 12 hours, even with a pressure difference.

It will passively go to sleep; if this mode is a concern, it's recommended to keep the button set to OFF.

Example Scenarios:

The balancer turns on when the first battery voltage exceeds 3V; otherwise, it turns off.
It balances when the total voltage of the 1st to 4th cells exceeds 11V, or if the voltage difference is greater than 0.05V.
Please do not solely rely on the balancer's LED status to determine its working status. To check if it's operational:

Ensure the hardware fuse is intact.
Verify if voltage passes through the balancer normally.
Use a clamp current meter to test for balance current (requires specific conditions).
After installation, test the normal voltage passage through each battery. Incorrect voltages can result in smoking or burning out the balancer upon power-up. Confirm the correct insertion and unplugging order before operation, as damage from incorrect sequencing or wiring is not covered by warranty.

For newly assembled battery packs, the balancer complements the BMS by providing additional balancing current, enhancing battery life. However, it is not suitable for repairing old batteries with large internal resistance and capacity differences. Replacement is recommended for such batteries, as professional balancers may struggle to address persistent voltage imbalances during charging.
